Frequently Asked Questions
Is the artwork ready to hang?
Yes. Each artwork is fitted with D-hooks and professional hanging wire securely attached to the back. Your piece can be installed immediately upon arrival.
How do I request a custom artwork?
Submit a commission enquiry with your space details, preferred colours, dimensions, style, and vision. I personally review all requests and will be in touch within 24–48 hours.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
Not at all. Even a general idea, inspiration image, or colour palette is enough to begin shaping your concept.
Are commissions limited?
Yes. Commissions are accepted in limited quantities to ensure each piece receives the time, intention, and attention it deserves.
Is a deposit required?
A 30% commencement deposit is required to secure your commission slot.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, as materials and time are allocated specifically to your piece.
When is final payment due?
The remaining balance is due upon completion prior to dispatch or delivery.
How long does a custom piece take?
Completion timeframes vary depending on size, design, and complexity. An estimated timeframe will be provided once your final design concept has been confirmed. Please keep in mind, it can take up to 3-6 weeks.
Can I request a deadline?
Yes — if you have a specific date, include it in your enquiry and I’ll confirm whether it can be accommodated.
Where do you ship from?
All artworks are shipped from Melbourne, Australia.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. International shipping is calculated at checkout.
Do you accept returns?
All artworks, including commissions, are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?

How do I care for my artwork?
Each Serene Textures artwork is handcrafted using professional-grade materials including gesso primer, 3D modelling paste, acrylic paint, and matte/gloss varnish.
To preserve the integrity, texture, and longevity of your piece, please follow the care guidelines below:
• Display indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment
• Avoid direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or heat exposure
• Do not hang near vents, fireplaces, kitchens, or bathrooms
• Handle with clean, dry hands when moving or installing
• Do not press, scratch, or apply pressure to textured areas
• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster only
• Do not use water, sprays, or cleaning chemicals
Important: Damage caused by improper handling, environmental conditions, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a fault of the artwork.
Natural variations, minor texture irregularities, and subtle surface movement are inherent characteristics of handmade textured artwork and are not considered defects.
What materials are used?
Each piece is created using high-quality materials including gesso primer, 3D modelling paste, acrylic paint, and matte/gloss varnish on professional canvas.
